Asch
The culprit of the first case. Edna never spoke to him personally, but talking to Natalia she gets the feeling he's a lot like her brother-- a big idiot who goes off and does things as he likes and doesn't think of the people he burdens in the process. Or if he does if certainly doesn't stop him. He did make things interesting with that stupid fruit basket case, but in the end, he still got caught. But in the process he left Natalia behind. Should have smacked him on the head at least once. |
Ayumu
He has a habit of immersing himself in baking when he's upset or shaken. Ayumu's always taking care of others before worrying about himself. He was pretty surprised how quickly Edna profiled him, but then it's easy to be deceived by her appearance.
Apparently his siblings are detectives and he has a bit of experience with murders and corpses. Makes him pretty valuable here. Hiyono is a classmate of his from back home. Innocent or not, Edna still thinks there's something more between the two of them. More than that, she thinks they do a good job of balancing each other out.
He's also a pro in the kitchen-- everything from full meals to tasty treats. Edna likes him-- he's entertaining. But that means he's one of the victims of her relentless teasing. She's not telling him he's kind of like a friend or anything okay.
He was the second to receive a nickname from her-- Umu. He doesn't like it. |
Chiaki
An idiot who broke the rules and was tossed out into the sky in week two. No way he lived that. Guess he at least was responsible for helping them figure out what happens when you break the rules here. |
Eizen
Edna's older brother. Although there's no one Edna loves more in this or any other world, she also carries a lot of insecurity and resentment deep down. After all-- there are large chunks of her life where he was just gone and she was left alone.
But he's also responsible for the fact that she was so eager to travel and see the world outside of her mountain. Behind her sharp tongue is a girl who's trying to cope with the love she didn't properly get to express to Eizen when he finally returned. Although it's re-opening all the wounds that just finally started to heal, she wouldn't trade this time for anything-- regardless of how cool she tries to act.
Even here he leaves her outrageous gifts.
...she's treasuring them, regardless what she says. |
Elliot
Seems pretty meek. But not a bad kid, probably. He also knows his way around the kitchen. |
Georik
He's a doctor of some sort. His abilities were very useful in the investigation portion of their stay and continued to offer keen insight during the trial. Not a bad guy to have around in this place. |
Majima
One of the two yakuza. Apparently he and Nishitani have been sleeping together-- the extent of that relationship is still fuzzy, though Edna's assuming the most intimate, based on the way those two are.
He was the one who got all tied up on the fruit basket in the first trial. Turned out to be a really useful fixation, weird as it was. |
Hanyuu
A god who holds herself to incredibly high standards. Even after Rika's death, she continued to push herself really hard. Edna tried to offer her some advice, but she's not sure how that really worked out. She'd offer more if she got the chance-- she seems like a nice person and honestly she's one of the people Edna can relate to, considering they're both more than just humans. |
Hei
Some drunk guy who kinda looks homeless-- even though he's living in the castle with the rest of them. Doesn't seem very social. |
Hiyono
A nosy reporter with a keen sense for sniffing out stories. Edna enjoys her gossip and gets a kick out of even the far-fetched stories. She's high energy and works hard to keep everyone together; making the breakfast announcements and organizing occasional get-togethers. She has a similar, forceful attitude which is part of the reason Edna likes this one-- and she'd probably tell her that before she'd tell Ayumu.
Even though she knows Edna doesn't need it, she brought her snacks and has been generally very kind. Still thinks there's something between her and Ayumu though. |
Nishitani
A blunt yakuza who's not all that bad to talk to. He has a crude, to the point way of speaking, but Edna prefers that to flowery bullshit. He seems to have an interesting relationship to Majima-- he doesn't seem against adding to it, whatever it is.
She confided some things about her past to him during the afterparty. She's not sure why but he's not a bad guy to talk to she guesses. |
Jansen
Put together the first Afterparty for everyone when they were all feeling pretty on edge about what happened at the trial. He doesn't really like dwelling on things that can't be helped and Edna can respect that. It was a nice gesture. |
Jin
An associate of Miyamura's. She's not sure exactly what their relationship is, but they seem like friends at least. On the surface she seems to like Jin a bit more than his friend. He's polite, if not a bit sketchy, by his own admission. But she wouldn't mind spending more time. She might even help him out if he asked. |

Koichi
[BLURB] |
Machias
Loud. Pretty up-tight and obnoxious, from her first impression. |
Mahiro
She made him food once. He has weak manners, but that's humans for you. But she doesn't dislike him. |
Mako
[BLURB] |
Naomi
Taught everyone some self-defense moves the first week. She offered good advice and was pretty supportive. Edna thinks she has a good head on her shoulders based on that and her comments in trial. |
Natalia
Asch's fiance who was incredibly upset after he admitted his fault in the first murder. Edna tried to offer her some comforting advice and talked with her a bit. Because of the guys in their life both being idiots Edna feels like she can relate a little. The girl seems far too soft to deserve the unfortunate start she's had during their stay here already. |
Rhoda
A flight attendant-- whatever that is. She seems confidant in her abilities, even if Edna doesn't understand how flying anything is safe. The woman also seems to have a soft spot for romantic gestures. She's trying to keep her cool and rely on logic, but she doesn't seem too used to rough situations like this. |
Rika
The victim of the first week's murder. Rika seemed like a childish girl, but in a surprise she could drop the act and be rather mature. She seemed kind, but mixed insult with advice meant to comfort her companion. In her death, she left behind a rather devastated god. |
Rosalind
[BLURB] |
Senhime
A sensible girl responsible for the weekly meetings after motives. Apparently she doesn't have any experience with musical instruments, but knows good craftsmanship. There's something very sturdy about her, but also-- regal. It reminds Edna of Alisha-- just less naive. |
Joker
THIS GUY'S A REAL WEIRDO. What the heck. Said they should just kill all the suspects at the first trial......... |
Tiki
There's more maturity to this one than meets the eye. But she also seems very sweet and lively. Edna doesn't know too much yet though. |
Miyamura
Iyamu. This guy is rude. Yet he's redeemed himself slightly by agreeing to call her "Lady Edna". He has no manners whatsoever. But she doesn't actually dislike him. He's... entertaining. But she fully intends to maintain that he annoys the shit out of her when... yeah okay she might be disappointed if something happened to him. |
